PIETRASANTA - JUNGLE & PISTACHIO

PIETRASANTA takes its name from the small town at the foot of the Apuan Alps. Marble has been carved there for centuries, and artists still come to work in its studios and foundries.

The frame has the same sculptor's instinct. It is thick and rectangular, softened at every edge, so it looks hand-shaped rather than drawn. Lightweight polycarbonate keeps it comfortable all day. Three star-shaped rivets on the temple and a fine arrow on the front sign it as SYBARIA.

JUNGLE is the deepest of the three. The tortoise is striated with olive, bronze and black, and flashes of gold run through it like light breaking through dense leaves.

The pistachio lenses have UV400 protection, blocking UVA, UVB and UVC rays while keeping colours soft and natural. This is a lens for long afternoons under a pergola, a table in the shade of the fig trees, the hour when nobody is in a hurry.

Unisex and made to be worn every day.
